Dr. Jennifer Hendry-Lynn is a Naturopathic Doctor with over 10-years of experience treating the community of Cambridge, Ontario and the surrounding areas. She is passionate about helping women and their families thrive. It is her goal to provide treatments that address the problem causing the symptom(s) in your body. Her practice has a focus in digestive health, women’s health/children’s health (perinatal/postnatal care, fertility, and hormones imbalances) and stress. In addition, she has a strong background in autoimmune diseases, weight loss, allergies and skin disorders.

Originally from St. Catharines, Ontario, Dr. Jennifer Hendry-Lynn ND graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences with First Class Honours from Brock University. Throughout University she was an active member of the Med Plus Program, which is a four-year non-credit concurrent program for students with a passion for health care. Furthermore, the program exposed her to a variety of careers in the healthcare and volunteer opportunities. Volunteering at the Niagara Children’s Centre (previously the Niagara Peninsula Children’s Centre) School, she worked in classrooms to help children with both communication and/or physical disabilities. During her time in University she had some health issues that she could not seem to resolve with the medical system. Therefore, she ended up seeing a local Naturopathic Doctor to help find some answers to her digestion concerns. With her Naturopathic Doctor, they worked together to find the root cause of her discomfort. After that, she was on a new career path.

When it was time to apply to post-graduate school, Dr. Jen ND decided to pursue a career in Naturopathic Medicine to help others like herself find the root cause of their disease. She attended the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) Toronto, Ontario, and four-years later graduated with Honours as a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. After completing 8-years of post-secondary education, Dr. Jennifer Hendry-Lynn ND is a primary health care provider practicing a combination of contemporary and alternative medicine.

She is a fully registered Naturopathic Doctor with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario, and an active member of both the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND) and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND). Women’s Hormones, Food Sensitivity Testing, B12 Injections, Bio-identical HRT, Anti-Aging Acupuncture and so much more.

Ready to embark on a path towards better health? I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

From chronic conditions and digestive issues to hormonal imbalances, menopause, weight management, fatigue, seasonal allergies, headaches, anxiety, sleep and stress-related symptoms, I routinely treat it all.

Conditions Treated Include:

Digestive Disorders: Including irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), acid reflux, constipation, and food sensitivities.

Menopause Support: Comprehensive care for women experiencing menopause, addressing the physical, emotional, and hormonal changes associated with this stage. I see a lot of women who’ve been to their GP, and haven’t been happy with what they’ve been offered. My preferred approach is to test hormones, then treat them. Most commonly we work on reducing symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, vaginal dryness, sleep disturbances, and decreased libido. I’m able to prescribe Bio-Identical Hormones, which is a form of treatment many women seek.

Hormonal Imbalances: Such as heavy periods, painful periods, irregular periods, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), thyroid disorders, and cortisol dysregulation.

Chronic Fatigue and Low Energy: Addressing underlying causes like nutrient deficiencies, chronic infections, adrenal dysfunction, or sleep disturbances.

Weight Management: Offering personalized diet instructions (based on testing), exercise recommendations, and addressing underlying metabolic imbalances or hormonal issues in order to achieve an ideal, healthier you.

Headaches & Migraines, even if they’re severe & longstanding.

Allergies and Asthma: Providing natural remedies to reduce symptoms and modify the immune system’s response to allergens.

Autoimmune Conditions: Balancing the immune system, managing inflammation, and addressing underlying triggers for conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and multiple sclerosis.

Anxiety and Depression: Implementing natural therapies to support mental health, including counseling, stress management techniques, and herbal remedies.

Skin Conditions: Treating eczema, acne, psoriasis, hives, rosacea, and other dermatological conditions using natural approaches such as diet modifications, botanical medicine, red light therapy, and holistic facials.

Chronic Pain: Using modalities like acupuncture, physical therapies, herbal remedies, and lifestyle adjustments to alleviate pain caused by conditions like arthritis, fibromyalgia, or migraines.

Cardiovascular Health: Addressing risk factors for heart disease, hypertension, high cholesterol, pre-diabetes, and providing strategies for prevention, lifestyle modifications, and stress reduction.

Insomnia and Sleep Disorders: Identifying the causes of sleep disturbances and providing natural interventions such as sleep hygiene education, herbal remedies, and lifestyle adjustments.

Detoxification and Cleansing: Assisting the body’s natural detoxification pathways to eliminate toxins, heavy metals, parasites, candida, and supporting organ function (if you already know me, you know how much I love the liver!).

Diabetes Management: Integrating lifestyle changes, dietary modifications, and supportive supplements to help regulate blood sugar levels and insulin resistance.

Children’s Health: Addressing common childhood ailments such as allergies, eczema, digestive disorders, and supporting overall growth and development (yes, I also treat kids & men!).

General Wellness and Prevention: What can you do to stay healthy? Here we promote optimal health by emphasizing preventive measures, nutrient & toxin testing, healthy lifestyle choices, and provide very individualized health plans, even when there is no specific diagnosis.

My goal is to help every person feel seen, heard, and understood. With me you’ll get a thorough assessment of your health from top to bottom, understand all your available options, and feel empowered to make the best decisions for your health.

By the way, I’m a fully certified Naturopathic Doctor registered with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO) located in the KW region (with over 7 years experience), providing visits both virtually and in person to all Ontarians.
